Elevation is almost never an issue here if you hit your shot hard with the highest lofted club that you think can get there. It can be anywhere from a 3-wood to a driver. It carries well too, as the green is downhill from the tee box. Long is water — you cannot be there, […]
Here’s a driver hole-out from the middle box. This 3-wood hopped in from the front box. Here’s a 5-wood from the front box that trickled back in, followed by a nice 7-wood floater from the front box. And here’s a driver ace from the back box.
This hole is long, so try to get it as far as you can to the right side of the fairway. Even in the middle of the fairway, if hit long, you can still have plenty of room to work around the trees. Here’s a nice 3-wood hole-out. Another option is to lay back along […]
Here’s a hole-out from the back box and a 6-iron ace over the right side from the front box. This one bounced off the roof but still found its way home! And here’s a 7-iron from the middle box off the angle of the roof, but the left-blowing wind pushed it home.
The high-lofted woods can be a huge advantage on this finishing hole — here’s a nice ace with the 7-wood. And here’s a well-played 5-wood. A firmly-hit 2-iron can still carry the green as well! Here’s a phenomenal 4-wood from the back box.
Here is a perfectly-played 5-wood ace. And here’s a 3-wood hole-out from the middle box.
This hole should be drivable from the front boxes but possibly not from the back boxes. Here’s a great ace with the 3-wood from the front box. And here’s a nice driver from the middle box. Here’s another amazing driver that bounced perfectly off a rock on its way to the hole! And this one […]
This hole can be drivable from the front box — here’s a long ace! Here’s another one that was still coming in hot!
Find a way to work your drive out to the end of the left fairway while being extra careful not to clip the tree in your way. From here, you can shoot through the canyon walls into the green, just like this! And, check out this incredible deflection hole-out — amazing!
Here’s a nice 5-wood ace from the front box. And here’s a great 3-wood from the center box. Finally, here’s an ace from the back box with a driver.
This par 3 can be very challenging, especially from the front box if you are left in between clubs, which can happen quite a bit. Here’s an excellent 9-iron ace. Here’s another one with the A-wedge. Here’s an ace from the middle box. It’s also tough from the back box, but here’s a great ace.
From the front box, a 9-wood can go right over the wall. From other boxes or with other clubs, you’ll have to lay up out to the right.
Here’s an example hole-out after a long drive past the sand. Here’s a longer hole-out from behind the sand.
Here’s an example hole-out.
Here is an ace on this short hole in the rain.
Here is a dunk hole-out with the driver!
If you get the front tee box, it appears as if you may be able to drive the green with a huge C3 shot and some lucky bounces. Here’s a hole-out from the fairway.
Here’s an example ace.
This hole presents all kinds of opportunities! The green can be driven most of the time, but you’ll have to control a deflection off one of a couple rocks while choosing the right club depending on the wind. If the wind is blowing between 3:00 and 6:00, play a high-teed 5-wood with backspin into the […]
First, take a look at your tee box and the wind. A high-teed driver cut around the corner in the right conditions can reach the green! A high-teed 3-wood can even cut over the far right trees but would require an exceptional look — still, the high-teed 3W gives your best chance of cutting around […]
This hole will likely require a couple of small cut shots to hit the green. Don’t get too crazy off the tee — again, distance doesn’t much matter, just get it somewhere right of the sand, preferably short so you don’t bring it into play. Here’s a nice hole-out from behind the sand. There’s a […]
Here’s a great ace with the driver. This 5-wood also found the cup.
Here’s a short ace from the front box, followed by a great ace from the middle box.
This is a really tough hole to stick the green — you may not be able to do it with certain setups. Aces are rare here — but here’s a great one with the 3-wood.
Here’s a nice hole-out after a long drive. Sometimes you may need a driver approach into this elevated green. While the water in front is cause for concern, it also creates a situation where a firmly-hit driver can skip the water and bounce up onto the green — check out this amazing hole-out!
Here’s an excellent 5-wood floater that found the hole. Here’s a 3-wood one-hopper. And this driver was perfectly-played.
Here’s an example hole-out after laying up back in the first fairway.
Your drive has to be long and positioned nicely to have a clean approach shot. You can either fly right over the sand, or try an A1-type shot as well. Here’s a nice hole-out. And here’s a fun angled dunk.
