The opening hole is sometimes drivable! I’m not sure if curling around the trees with a driver is an option, but it looks feasible.
Sometimes you can take straight aim at the green and go right over the top with a lofted wood! Check out this awesome high-teed 5-wood that clears the trees and drops in the hole.
Here’s an 8-wood hole-out from the fairway.
From the back-right box, this 5-wood finds the cup.
Here’s a driver cut shot that bounces perfectly over the sand trap to find the hole. And here’s another driver that catches the downslope to shoot through the sand and pop back out into the cup!
This high-teed 3W had enough to go right over the trees and find the hole!
