Here’s a nice hole-out after a long drive cut around the corner.

Having a 9-wood is huge here — you can take it right over the side of the structure to the green…but an 8-or-7-wood can be fine too to curve around.

You used to need to do some math to lay up for a 5-wood through the hole in the structure on the approach (I can’t tell if this goes over or through, but you get the idea), but if you pack a 7-wood or 9-wood, just leave yourself somewhere between 190 and 230 yards and you can shoot right over it.
Or, you can play the right side of the fairway and cut over the side — this 6-iron did just that and found the cup.
Here is a 2-iron gone wrong, and then gone oh-so right in this amazing hole-out!

Here is a fantastic 5-wood ace. Check out this amazing 2-hybrid which missed everything through the trees and ended up in the hole!
This 5-wood caught an incredible bank back off the far pillar and found the hole — amazing!

You can almost always play a big A1 drive over/through the sand spiral towards the next fairway, setting you up nicely for eagle. This drive found the grassy center, followed by a hole-out on the approach!

You can try to cut the corner through the trees, but it’s usually not worth it. Here’s an outstanding recovery after the tee shot found trouble through the trees.

This drive is tricky — you need to cut it around left so you have a clean shot at the green. Here’s an example hole-out.

This hole is sometimes drivable, but it can be tough.

You can usually cut the corner over the sand to give yourself a closer approach, which is nice if you have the lofted woods. Otherwise, you may lay up behind the sand in the first fairway for a 5-wood approach — this one was played well into a front pin.
This 3-wood barely got up to the green after a poor drive but got some nice bounces into the cup!

Three potential greens to shoot at here! Here’s a nice 4-wood ace to the right green. Sometimes a driver can actually skip the water to make the green!
Check out this 5-wood to the front green that was short but caught a grassy break! There’s also a backstop that can help too.

Because of the short direct distance, and especially with the introduction of high tees to classic courses, you may be able to take a shot at the green off the tee in some setups!
Otherwise, you’ll want to lay up on top of the pyramid to the left of the fairway to give an approach chance at eagle.
Here is an incredible dunk for double-eagle after missing the lay-up spot!
