Golden Tee tips tricks hints shortcuts golf game 2007 2008 2009 live arcade driving long driveI’m no expert on this subject, but I know about it from reading forums. The best Golden Tee players can crank out 400+ yard long drives with regularity, but I’m not one of them. The secret lies in the big-hooking A1 and C3 shots. If you can visualize a clear path where your drive can take this kind of angle, then a good tip is to shoot one of these shots off the tee for maximum distance. The ball just travels a lot farther, and by using a big hook, you get a ton of roll on the ball as well. Here’s an example video showing the execution of this shot.

If anyone has any comments to help out here with long drives in Golden Tee, I’d love to hear them!

  1. The only thing i can add because you covered it very well is that when you pull back to either C-3 or A-1 is that if you want to hit it 400 + thumbs is not going to do it. You have to use your palm . very few players can get 400 with there thumbs. And since they made the improvements to the cabinet of the machine its alot safer to use your palm.

  2. I don’t have the strongest thumbs, but a perfect C-3 or A-1 with roll can easily get you 400+ yards. A tail wind certainly helps.

  3. A C-3 or A-1 drive is not the only way to hit over 400yds. I regularly hit 400+yds with a hard palmed B-2.

  4. I have found lately that I frequently do 400+ on a B-2. I have learned to use my whole palm from tip of my middle finger to the end of my palm. It seems the more surface you get on the trackball the further it will go. Obviously, use forward spin.

  5. Check out this thread at Underdog — lots of good info about these “ramp” shots and where you might be able to pull it off!
